Want to know about the Eco Squad?
The Eco Squad are a group of students who support the school to be environmentally friendly. They consist of a team of children from year two to year six., with each class vote for a representative at the start of the year.
The Eco-squad meet regularly to discuss issues linked to the school and wider environment. They highlight key issues across the school and set actions for improvement.
Children are involved in collecting the school’s paper recycling on a daily basis, inspecting the school grounds and collecting any litter and collecting food waste for composting for the outside area. They also monitor the school’s electricity use, supporting us in reducing the amount of energy that we use.
Our Eco Squad Members
Through a democratic process, the children were elected by their peers to represent each class from Years 2 to 6.
