In line with British democracy, School Councillors are elected by their class mates. All candidates must be nominated and carry out a campaign including speeches to their classmates. A short listing process then takes place before Election Day when 4 candidates from each class are put forward. Years 2 to 6 votes for a Councillor from their class to represent them at meetings.
