In topic, we will be learning more about the Wright brothers and their invention of the aeroplane.
In Science, we will be learning about the sense of touch and learning how describe how different things feel.
In maths, we will be moving on to a new unit learning about multiplication and division by learning how to count in 2s, 5s and 10s and making equal groups.
With the phonics screening test coming up, please can you ensure your child has their reading book and diary with them every day so they can get additional reading practise.

Please can you also support your child with learning their spellings each week. All of the groups spelling lists are on the Year 1 Teams page so if your child has lost their list it can be downloaded off the teams page and can be found under the title Spellings.
Reminder: It is the school photos this week Wednesday. As we do PE that day please can you child wear their uniform to school and bring their PE kit in a labelled bag to change into later.
