We have a ‘wow’ day making toys planned for Monday 11th March but we currently haven’t received enough contributions to pay for it which may mean we will have to cancel. If possible please can you make your donation by the end of Monday 4th March.
In Science, we will be learning about our senses and this week we will learn about the sense of smell by investigating and making predictions about what different smells are.
In Maths, we will learning about place value to 50 by counting in 10’s and partitioning in ten’s and ones.
Don’t forget to complete the Numbots challenges to get a reward certificate for each level completed.
In phonics, the children are making fantastic progress. Well done for completing the online home work and reading wise activities which supports their learning. Many children are working through the reading wise program and moving up a level.
On Thursday 7th March it is world book day and to celebrate, your child can come to school dressed as their favourite book character. We will be taking part in the ‘Big Bookie Breakfast’ where your child can bring in a breakfast snack and their favourite book to share with the class. We also be doing other fun activities linked to inspiring a love of reading.
On the 11th March 1DF will be doing their class assembly. Please join us at 9.00 in the main hall to find out what we have been learning about.
On the 15th March it is Comic relief day and we will be holding a non-uniform day to support the charity. Please bring a donation.
