Welcome back to school Reception we have really missed you all. This week at school we will be continuing with our work on Spring. We will be planting some beans in our own mini green houses and will be watching how they begin to grow. We will also plant some cress and will be making cress heads with a focus on the scientific processes for Science week.
Towards the end of the week we will be learning about Mothers day and will be making a nice surprise for our mummies.
We will have lots of time to play together and have the opportunity to talk about how we are feeling being back in school. The grown ups will also be doing a little assessment on our Phonics and reading so we can be given the correct reading book to support where we are with our phonics learning.
Thursday will be our P.E day so please remember to come into school in your P.E kit. White T-shirt, black leggings or joggers and a black sweatshirt/ hoodie ( as the weather warms up we can wear our black shorts) and footwear such as trainers. Please make sure if you are wearing trainers that you are able to put these on and off and if they have laces you should be able to tie these yourself. Hopefully over lockdown you have been dressing and undressing yourself so this is a skill that we hope you have all mastered.
